Roof Update

Today Delmar Construction was on sight with a good sized crew and the trusses started going up!  It is wonderful to see the roof taking shape!  Following you will find a few pictures of the process.  Barring unforeseen circumstances, the trusses will all be in place by day's end tomorrow, ready for the plywood.  Keep praying for good weather!!

January 18

Hard to believe the weather for this time of year.  As one of our contractors commented yesterday, we couldn't have asked for better!  God is so good!!

The well driller finished up about noon today.  The finished well is about 300 feet deep and we have approximately 5 gallons of water per minute running into it.  Should be lots of water for our needs.

You will notice some new pictures of the gable ends.  Certainly makes a difference in the look of the building!  The carpenters are coming the first of next week to start putting on the roof.

Held a church meeting last evening to discuss our financial situation.  We covet your prayers for our finances as we press ahead.  Still have a great need for donors.  Whether your gift be $10 or $10,000 it will be received with thankfulness and seen as a blessing from the Lord.

Scientifically measuring the water flow!

The gable ends are starting to go up and the well driller arrived!  We should have a finished well tomorrow and the concrete in the gable ends will be poured on Thursday, making the building ready for the roof, the next step.

January 13

The concrete was poured in the upstairs walls today.  Now we will be anxiously waiting for them to finish the gable ends and start putting the trusses in place.  The building is really coming together quite quickly considering the time of year.  Praise God for giving us such mild weather!

Be watching for more pictures next week as more of our building takes shape.

Updated pictures

Sorry that these are so long in coming.  You will see some big changes from the last time I posted.  Enjoy and keep praying!  We are looking to put this building up debt free... another $500,000 - $600,000 is needed.
